5-Day Tanzania Midrange Safaris

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a beautiful park known for its iconic baobab trees and massive herds of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Keep your eyes open for lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birds.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park (Central)

Today you’ll journey through the Ngorongoro Highlands on your way to the world-famous Serengeti. Game drive en route as you enter the Central Serengeti, home to abundant wildlife and predator action. Arrive at your tented camp in time for sunset.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari – Central Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the Central Serengeti, a region rich with wildlife and known for its high density of big cats. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration or large resident herds of herbivores. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Rise early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive in this natural wildlife sanctuary. Spot endangered black rhinos, elephants, lions, and hippos in the crater floor. After lunch, return to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
