The immersive 2-day wildlife safari "Highlights of Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater" offers a journey through two of Tanzania’s most remarkable destinations. This private tour takes you to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant populations, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, famous for its scenic beauty and rare black rhinos.
The package includes lodge accommodation, all meals, a professional safari guide, and private transportation. Your adventure begins with convenient pickup from either Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha.
Day 1: Tarangire National Park (Herds of Elephants)
Upon your morning arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide, who will accompany you on your journey to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive in a private 4x4 safari vehicle.
Tarangire is celebrated for its rich biodiversity and large herds of elephants. The park showcases a range of landscapes, from open savannah to seasonal swamps, all centered around the life-giving Tarangire River. As you explore, you might witness lions stealthily tracking their prey or spot leopards lounging in the branches above.
After your game drive, you'll head back to your lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater (Black Rhinos and Flamingos)
After breakfast at 7:00 am, you'll begin your morning drive to Ngorongoro. Your accommodation is situated just a short distance from the Ngorongoro gate.
Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders. It hosts approximately 30,000 large mammals year-round, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, and the rare black rhino. The crater is also home to diverse birdlife such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. This area offers a remarkably rich wildlife experience in a relatively short time.
We aim to reach Kilimanjaro Airport by around 4:00 pm, though we remain flexible depending on your flight schedule and onward travel plans.
